Lafayette DualGrip Dynamometer 5030DG
The Lafayette DualGrip Dynamometer is the next generation in wireless grip dynamometry. Supporting a variety of well-known tests, the DualGrip is designed to be easily held by adults and children with a focus on increased accuracy in the lower range.
Testing
There are three main tests that are administered using the DualGrip. Each test is done in a selected number of trials and times. Completed tests will be automatically saved to the device or optionally stored in the LEval app.
Peak force
- Measures sustained force
- Accommodates dominant, non-dominant, or both hands
Rapid grip exchange
- Quickly perform grip test using each hand in sequence
- Audio stimulus notifies users to switch hands
Force over time
- Determine how long grip is sustained through maintaining maximum grip or attempting to hold grip above specified threshold
Features
Unique handle for large and small hands:
Simply rotate and lock the handle of the low weight dynamometer for use with even the smallest hands.
