Lafayette DualGrip Dynamometer 5030DG

The Lafayette DualGrip Dynamometer is the next generation in wireless grip dynamometry. Supporting a variety of well-known tests, the DualGrip is designed to be easily held by adults and children with a focus on increased accuracy in the lower range.

Testing

There are three main tests that are administered using the DualGrip. Each test is done in a selected number of trials and times. Completed tests will be automatically saved to the device or optionally stored in the LEval app.

Peak force

Measures sustained force
Accommodates dominant, non-dominant, or both hands

Rapid grip exchange

Quickly perform grip test using each hand in sequence
Audio stimulus notifies users to switch hands

Force over time

Determine how long grip is sustained through maintaining maximum grip or attempting to hold grip above specified threshold
