Montreal, August 15, 2001 -- NexGen Ergonomics Inc. (NexGen) is pleased to announce the release of ManneQuinPRO Version 7.1. ManneQuinPRO Version 7.1 supports Windows Me and includes new program security.
This is the first update since NexGen announced in April that it has acquired the source code and intellectual property related to ManneQuinPRO and ManneQuinONSITE. NexGen has added additional staff to continue the development of the ManneQuin series of software products.
Including the original ManneQuin system, there are thousands of users of these systems installed worldwide.
ManneQuinPRO was the first Windows-based human modeling and ergonomic design software on the market. Equipped with a powerful set of 2D/3D modeling and editing tools, the software features three-dimensional humanoid figures for 11 populations and numerous percentiles and body types. Other features include NIOSH lifting equation, field of vision cones, reach envelopes, frame by frame animation, and more. The system is equipped with import/export tools to be used with graphics software such as Autodesk's AutoCAD and 3D Studio MAX.
