Montreal, September 28, 1999 -- NexGen Ergonomics Inc. (NexGen) is pleased to announce its agreement to distribute the ELF Data Acquisition System to the ergonomics, biomechanics and related markets.
The ELF system is an economical, easy to use system that allows users to obtain force data in a variety of applications where hand to tool or other device forces need to be measured. The system includes software, interface electronics and FlexiForce Variable Resistance Sensors.
ELF connects to a serial interface, and is compatible with Windows 95 and NT. It comes complete with the ability to calibrate and adjust the force range of the sensors. The software allows you to collect, record and play back data. The graphic displays available include: Strip Chart, Bar Graph, Analog Meter and a Digital Display.
The ProComp and FlexComp systems distributed by NexGen Ergonomics also interface with the FlexiForce sensors thus providing synchronization of force data with EMG, electrogoniometers, HR and other data.
NexGen provides the most extensive product line of systems for ergonomic and biomechanical job analysis, design & research. These include sEMG analysis systems, data acquisition systems, goniometers, force sensors, dynamometers, 3D human modeling software, ergonomic design systems, video analysis systems, as well as many other products. NexGen Medical Systems distributes a variety of products for assessment and outcome measurement.
